Yasmeen is currently studying her LPC LL.M part-time at the University of Law whilst working as a paralegal at Marsans Solicitors. Yasmeen assists the Property, Immigration and Litigation departments.
Yasmeen has always aspired to be a solicitor from a young age and has always sought to further her legal knowledge by acquiring legal experience. Yasmeen assists the Property Department by carrying out all the necessary searches and attending to the post completion matters.
Yasmeen has gained extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Civil Litigation and regulatory Public Law. Yasmeen has assisted corporate and private clients in their legal disputes. Yasmeen has also gained a wide-range of experience in Administrative and Judicial Reviews against public bodies assisting corporate and private clients by drafting the grounds for review and liaising with all relevant parties. Yasmeen has also assisted and represented clients in their Immigration matters to the Home Office.
Working within various areas of law, Yasmeen has had the opportunity to provide additional translation assistance to Arabic speaking clients.
Yasmeen has also been part of the Amnesty International Pro Bono team where she worked on an international human rights issue in regards to a Japanese death row inmate.
Yasmeen in her spare time likes to go hiking across the UK and travelling abroad.
