Yasmeen graduated from the University of Law in 2014 after completing an intensive two-year LL.B Law Degree. She subsequently studied her LPC LL.M part-time at the University of Law whilst working as a paralegal at Marsans Solicitors on a full-time basis. Yasmeen was assisting the Litigation, Real Estate and Immigration departments whilst a Paralegal.
Yasmeen has now commenced her Training Contract at our firm with the solid experience gained within the Immigration department, Litigation department and Real Estate department. She is expected to qualify as a Solicitor by the end of 2019.
Yasmeen has always aspired to be a solicitor from a young age and has always sought to further her legal knowledge by acquiring legal experience in various areas within the legal realm. Assisting the Real Estate department, Yasmeen has acquired deep knowledge on the procedures and the necessary documents relevant to the field of Property Law.
Yasmeen has gained extensive knowledge of Civil Litigation and regulatory Public Law. Yasmeen has assisted corporate and private clients in challenging the public body decisions and was involved in the drafting and filing at court with various applications challenging those decisions. Yasmeen has also gained a wide-range of experience in Administrative and Judicial Reviews against public bodies assisting corporate and private clients by assisting in the drafting of the grounds for judicial review. Yasmeen has also assisted and represented clients in their Immigration matters to the Home Office.
Working within various areas of law, Yasmeen has had the opportunity to provide additional translation assistance to Arabic speaking clients.
Yasmeen has also been part of the Amnesty International Pro Bono team where she worked on an international human rights issue regarding a Japanese death row inmate
Yasmeen in her spare time likes to go hiking across the UK and travelling abroad.
